Weekend
As, I mentioned last month, we will be moving to Tennessee by the end of the year. As excited as we are, Chris and I are also sad that we won't be six hours from our entire family anymore. So, it is only fitting that our family starts cashing in on their last opportunity to spend the weekend in San Diego free of charge. I mean, last weekend visiting us. : )
This weekend, my brother-in-law and his family stayed with us. We ate good food, watched the kids play, and took a boat ride around coronado harbor. It is so difficult to make time for everyone when we visit AZ, so I was really happy that they got to spend a whole weekend of unshared time with Caden. Plus, watching Caden interact with my eight year old nephew is so sweet. Especially when Caden raises his arms for Deacon to pick him up and is content with being squished because his cousin isn't quite big enough to hold him!

Not only did we have a great weekend, but my soon to be sister in law dyed my hair for me:
I haven't had my hair dark since I first met my husband, so it is a fun change! Look at that, it's already the weekend again!

March Goals
Is it already time for March goals? February went by so fast! After taking a month off of school, I'm not excited to start another class or to go back to juggling so much at a time! Here is what I want to accomplish this month:
1. List items on Etsy shop. I have two sheet sets almost done!
2. Stay on top of school work so I can enjoy visits from family and friends. This weekend my brother-in-law and his family are coming up for their last visit to see us in San Diego! We will have a full apartment but are going to make the most of it!
3. Make Jack a vet appointment. Poor guy is absolutely terrified of the vet, but its that time of year.
4. File taxes. I'm a finance geek, so I don't mind filing our taxes every year. Oh, and who doesn't love tax credits?
5. Schedule family pictures. For my birthday, my thoughtful husband got me a groupon for a sunset photo session, and I can't wait to use it!
It was wonderful taking a month off of school, and I actually got quite a bit done in February.
1. Open up my
Etsy shop. Technically, I'm still waiting to list items, but everything else is ready!
2. Make 'me' time. I'm sure I could have used more me time, but I did make time finish up a season of Desperate Housewives on netflix, paint my nails, and start a book.
3. Gymboree classes with Caden. We start next week!
4. Spring Clean and declutter. This one was only partially done, but I am crossing off so that I don't discredit the work that I actually did- deep cleaning the pantry and the fridge, and organizing my file of important papers. That doesn't seem like much when I write it out, but I also managed to keep a clean house most of the month!
5. Read a book. I should have guessed that I wouldn't have finished this one.
